What You Are and Aren’t Consenting to and Related Comments
By submitting your name and email address in our contact form, you are consenting to receive periodic communications with regards to the DLO Big Band. You may unsubscribe at your convenience.
What you are NOT consenting to is sharing, selling, or third-party use of your information: which is restricted to your provided name and email address.
If you send us a text message, you are consenting to our reply to your message and temporary storage of that message until such time your inquiry or purpose is fulfilled. We do not store text message or telephone number data.
When visitors leave comments on the site we do not collect the data shown in the comments form. We do use the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. We do not collect telephone numbers, so if you call or text us, your information is not stored in a database. The only record of your telephone number or text message string is the text message string itself, which may be preserved according to the policies of the telephone and/or text provider.

Who we share your data with
We don’t share your data. Your name and email address you submit in subscribing to our site are strictly for receiving Information from the band regarding events and causes. Information texted to us is retained in the text string but not stored in any other manner.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are deleted after responding to or utilizing the content as requested. Retention may be for up to 30 days in order to fulfill requests or conclude communication.
Your email address and associated name are retained for purposes of communicating band evens and causes to you as stated in the subscription/sign-up process. We retain this information until such time you unsubscribe. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have subscribed to communications from this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you within 30 days, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Your contact information (name and email address) are sent to our email services provider: Aweber.com. We do not store telephone numbers or text messages. We do not store your information on our site or in any form other than what has been described herein.
